1-MCP fresh keeping agent, the main component is 1 - methylcyclopropene, which is found b
y scientific research to be the most effective ethylene inhibitor in recent years.
It has no toxicity, no residue, no pollution to the environment, and has been widely used in ke
eping fresh for fruits,
vegetables and flowers.
Mode of Actions:
It can extend the postharvest storage and shelf life effectively, especially for such fruits, vege
tables, and flowers which are sensitive to ethylene.
There are two formulations for 1-MCP:
1-MCP 3.5% WP is suitable for Cold storage treatment, 1gram can effect for 15m3 Cold
1-MCP Sachet is suitable for carton, transportation. 1 sachet can effect for 1 carton with
Apple, pear, kiwi fruit, peach, persimmon, apricot, cherry, plum, grape, strawberry, melon,
jujube, water melon,banana , custard apple , mango, loquat , bayberry , papaya , guava ,
star fruit and other fruits.
Tomato, garlic, pepper, broccoli, cabbage, eggplant, cucumber, bamboo shoots, according to oil,
beans, cabbage, bitter gourd, coriander, potato, lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, celery, green pepper,
Carrots and other vegetables;
Tulip, alstroemeria, carnation, gladiolus, snapdragon, carnation, orchid, Gypsophila, rose,
The dosage of 1-MCP sachet depends on the fruits and vegetables package volume
for each carton or each bag.
For example: Apple preservation, put 1 sachet in each standard box whose package volu
me is10 kg -15 kg. (The volume is 0.055 - 0.06m3 max.).
1g 1-MCP 3.5% WP can effect for 15m3 Cold storage.

This micro dose packaged product is suitable for the cartons lined , transit boxes or plastic b
ags and other packaging of fruits batch processing .
The specific methods are as follows:
Check the fresh keeping bag before package the fruits, requiring no damage to the bag ( so as
not to affect the use effect ) .
Use this product after packing the fruit and before sealing.
After package the fruits into bags, put 1-MCP directly into the fresh keeping bag when precoo
ling, then fold the fresh keeping bag, and seal it. Seal the fruits bags or cartons if transported
directly, the processing time shall not be less than 24 hours, the processing temperature is 5
to 20 °C.
Direction for 1-MCP 3.5% Wettable Powder:
Firstly, close the windows and the door;
Then solute 1-MCP powder in 1% KOH or NaOH solution, it would release 1-MCP gas and inh
ibit ethylene. ( The dosage of 1-MCP is based on the square volume of your Container or Cold
At last, close the container or refrigeration house timely, prevent 1-MCP gas leakage.
Packing for 1-MCP Sachet: 0.5g/ sachet, 200 sachets/ bag, 30 bags/carton.
